JUTE
'Jute' is the best of the coarser baste fibers grown particularly in India. The fiber is obtained from the stems (secondary phloem) of the genus chorchorus, which belongs to the family 'Tiliaceae'.

The Jute plant, which reaches over three meters in height, typically grows in sandy soil and sub-tropical climate. They are mostly grown in North Eastern part of India. Harvesting is extremely labour intensive. The stalks are gathered by hand and are then softened in water - like Coir husks. The fiber is then stripped away, again by hand. The spinning of Jute yarn is mainly fully mechanized; this gives a very uniform quality of yarn with vastly improved bleaching, dyeing and finishing process and by blending Jute with other natural or synthetic fibers, the finished jute products ensure feel, luster, abrasion resistance and aesthetic appeal.

RUBBER
We manufacture high quality molded rubber mats and flooring products using sheet rubber made from crumb rubber.

SEAGRASS
Seagrass is possibly the best known of the natural floorings; hard wearing with a unique appearance made by flooding the plant with seawater before harvesting. The matting has a relatively open weave due to the variable fiber gauge and has the most "slubs" or irregularities with variations in its natural shading compared to all the natural floorings.

COIR
Coir is a coarse fiber obtained from the tissues surrounding the seed of the coconut palm, Cocos nucifera. The intact fruit has a smooth leathery skin above the thick fibrous layer. This surrounds the stony dark brown shell, which is actually part of the fruit rather than the seed. Inside the shell are the papery brown outer layer (husk) of the seed surrounding the nutritious white flesh and the embryo.
