Shanghai OLO Furniture Co., Ltd. Produces home furniture, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, office furniture, public furniture, and more. Our products are sold at over 160 stores in more than 60 cities in China. We have also established solid relationships with buyers in Europe, America, Japan and Southeast Asia. Our manufacturing base is a Sino-American joint venture located in Nanjing, just a 3-hour drive from Shanghai. Our workshop is in the Jiangning Development Zone, the home of the Motorola R&D center and the Ford/Mazda billion dollar plant. We also have access to convenient sea, land, and air transportation networks to ship your orders to you.
Our management team is comprised of entrepreneurs from China and the USA with rich experiences. With backgrounds of both Western and Eastern culture, the management team can better understand clients different needs. Moreover, our business process is managed with the industry-leading ERP software, which is quite extraordinary among furniture manufactures. The ERP software integrates the business functions including order placing, production planning, and material sourcing into one. This is one of the reasons why we have the momentum and efficiency to develop fast. With the boosted performance, we guarantee our customers excellent products at a competitive price with timely delivery.
Our factory is equipped with top-of-the-line highly automatic manufacturing machinery imported from Germany and Japan. We use automatic board cutting machines, double-headed milling and three-shaft planning machines, computer operated edge-banding and post processing machines. There are over 180 staff members working in our Phase-1 workshop that covers 8, 000 square meters. Our current maximum production capability is 100 forty-foot containers per month based on double shift production. Our Phase-2 workshop will be finished by the end of 2005. By then, the total workshop area will be tripled and maximum production capability will reach 300 forty-foot containers.
We value the quality of our products as highly as rapid delivery. The high quality of OLO products originates from carefully picked wood suppliers. We only choose MDF and particleboards made above the stringent German "E1" standard. By contracting the National Wood Chemistry Laboratory, we incorporate the sophisticated wood chemical lab tests as a part of our standard Q&C routine. Our quality control process is also attached to our production process. We train our workers to inspect every part at every stage of manufacturing, and provide defect-free incentive to every employee. We also inform them of your special requirements before production. In our OLO retail stores, we give our customers an added assurance about the quality of our goods by the guarantee of "ten-time money back for any products under E1 quality standards".
Backed by experienced in-house R&D team of 8 people, we design over 20 new products each month and complete 12 product lines each year. We understand the growth of the company relies in the people we have. Each year we recruit the top graduates from Nanjing Forestry University, one of the top three universities in the discipline.
